Bodyweight Training for In-Gym and At-Home Fitness

Earn CEUs learning to build new and creative bodyweight exercises for in-gym and at-home fitness for everyone. Based on the latest research, this course is designed for practitioners with an interest in general fitness, successful aging, and rehabilitation. The course includes suggested exercises with photos and videos along with programming templates and sample routines for immediate use. Course is intermediate level and suitable for PTs and PTAs. 2 Hours CEUs.

  2. Analyze the functional kinesiology and mechanics of selected bodyweight exercises.
  3. Execute bodyweight exercises safely and effectively.
  4. Develop results driven bodyweight training sessions.
  5. Utilize the latest research on exercise programming methods to maximize performance low load exercises.

Presenter

Amy Ashmore, PhD

Amy holds a PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of Timing Resistance Training (Human Kinetics, 2020) and over 40 professional development courses for physical therapists, strength & conditioning coaches, and athletic trainers. Amy is former Florida State University faculty and currently owns and operates physicaltherapy.education, a continuing education agency located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
